1. make time to work
2. be easy on yourself
3. remember it's just a project
4. Go with the flow
5. Set a goal and then move on
So, I'm about to share pics from my March Art Journal....Remember that? I gave you a list of ideas to get you started....and then.....did you do them?
I'll be honest...i started out strong...and then...i lost momentum....like...i do...
At first, i felt bad about it...and then...i decided it was ok...because the point was to simply get started on something creative again...not for it to be a chore or a big boring mess...the point of an art journal is to inspire creativity...and even though i lost moment, i feel like the intention was successful...
And, yes, i plan to start my next one this week...i know...why would i start another one if i got bored? because, that is what artists do...we have great ideas, we make LOTS of work...and sometimes...the work sucks...but out of all it...there are those gems....and i plan to keep on going...How about you?
here i what happened with the art journal for march...(yup just now showing you in April...)
